I was enjoying MudRunner a lot - relaxing, no rush, beautiful countryside to drive through, etc. So when SnowRunner was finally released on Steam Games I had to see if it worked on Linux, and yes it did with the Proton GE 6.5 driver along with my steering wheel.
Apart from the new vehicles, maps, and physics this game is a multi-player with a Co-op mode (up to 4 players), so you can tackle challenges together or just do a trail drive together with your friends. Some of the custom mod maps can be the most fun.
About the game: "SnowRunner puts you in the driver’s seat of powerful vehicles as you conquer extreme open environments with the most advanced terrain simulation ever. Drive 40 vehicles from brands such as Ford, Chevrolet, and Freightliner as you leave your mark on an untamed open world. Overcome mud, torrential waters, snow, and frozen lakes while taking on perilous contracts and missions. Expand and customize your fleet with many upgrades and accessories including an exhaust snorkel for heavy waters or chain tires to battle the snow."
