A Series of Unfortunate Events
Season 2 of #ASeriesOfUnfortunateEvents dropped on #Netflix today! My wife and I are starting our watch through. She read and enjoyed the books and we both really enjoyed the first season. We've been looking forward to this for a while.

I have started watching Altered Carbon. I read the book (or maybe it was the audio book). I think it was a lot of macho sex and violence. So far the TV Show seems to be following suit.
Having said that... The futuristic ideas it presents are pretty interesting and I have a weakness for all things scifi.

I'm sure I'll waste a bunch of time on this too, since I am also a sucker for sci-fi, and this show combines ideas I find interesting with a lead actor I have enjoyed in everything I've seen him in. And this comes immediately after I finally finished wasting untold hours on Colony, which isn't even that good of a show but I had to finish the season to see what happened. Spoiler alert:

@TV series point+ @elmussol I didn't know Mr Robot and I finished watching the first season yesterday. I have contradictory sensations: on the one hand, I find it excessively focused on the protagonist, whose distorted vision conditions everything. On the other hand, it is a good idea to use the subjective camera that involves the spectator in Elliot's reality/irreality and in his continuous and vaporous political discourse... I have been surprised, anyway and I will see the remaining seasons.

@TV series point+ I saw the two seasons of Strike and I liked the show. It has just the right point of complexity and sophistication to have a good time watching it. The best, as he told me @James Lamentus , is the construction of the protagonists...
